I bet you didn’t think the Metal Gear cardboard box could get more iconic. And yet here we are. Together sharing in the knowledge that this limited edition duck box exists, and I very much want it. As someone who lives and dies by, sometimes quite literally, the cardboard box tactic, I can’t think of a better Metal Gear collectible.
Making a Tactical Splash
As with all Tubbz products this is an officially licensed collectible. The Metal Gear Solid: The Orange Box TUBBZ (First Edition) has the recognisable Numskull Designs take on a PVC duck. The whole thing just feels fun. Even more than a rubber duck usually does! Now whilst Tubbz First Editions usually come in their own special bathtub, this little fella is a little different. Well you can’t expect a cardboard box to withstand a bath surely?! Instead this duck comes in just a branded box. I say just, but it’s fully branded up and would look great alongside other boxed PVC/vinyl figures you may have on your self. Really make it pop. Ahem. Tubbz collectors don’t despair however, as this First Edition still comes with the usual base print and sticker.
